The 8595 Tent and Reunions for `95, `90, and `85

Just 100 days remain before the fifth annual 8595 Homecoming Hospitality Tent and major reunions for the classes of 1985, 1990, and 1995!

Now is the time to rally your classmates and make your plans.

Since last month's broadcast, the 2010 tent has received additional financial support from Anne Humphries Arseneau `89, Amy Thompson Furman `85, and Sophie Lee `90. The complete list of Benefactors and Hosts for 2010 is on our official Website, as are the lists from each of the past four years.

As of today, we need 5 more Gold Benefactors, 10 more Green Benefactors, and 1 Corporate Sponsor. Can you help?

We are especially looking for help from the class of 1995. We'd also like to see more contributions from the later classes, and some additional support from the other two reunion year classes.

If you are in a position to do so, please sign up as a Benefactor or Corporate Sponsor today.

Our costs are not subsidized by the WMAA or the College as many alumni assume; we rely completely on the direct contributions of alumni. It is critical that all eleven 8595 class years to participate in the sharing of costs. At nearly $15 per person, costs are too high for us to rely on spontaneous donations at the event.

But even if you cannot contribute financially this year, we still want you and your family and friends to join us and to help spread the word! To register yourself and your party as free guests, click here.

Facebook Groups for W & M Alumni

Over 450 alumni have already joined the 8595 Facebook group, have you? It's a great way to reconnect with friends you have lost touch with. Click here to sign up now.

A number of Facebook groups have also been started for specific alumni class years and these are especially useful to help rally attendance during reunion years.

EIGHTY–FIVE NINETY–FIVE IS A GRASSROOTS ORGANIZATION and it does not officially represent the College, the William and Mary Alumni Association, or any other organization. 8595 seeks to increase the attendance, engagement, and connectedness of the nearly 18,500 alumni that constitute its target audience. But, while the focus of the effort is on this 11-year span of class years, 8595 events and activities are open to all and alumni from `84, `96, and other nearby years are especially encouraged to attend our events.
